I photographed at my home in Los Angeles, California. Originally, I had not come up with any ideas for the shoot, and I just wanted it to be strictly a fashion shoot. While, the model was changing I came across a package that had been delivered to me from Amazon.com, in which I discovered a book I had ordered about the psychology of Homicide. This book became the theme of the photo shoot, I was inspired by the idea that anyone, despite who they are can have a murder mentality.

Story

Murder has always interested me, the idea that people crave control in such a way that they strive to make a living human being suffer until death. The theories behind why people kill others vary a great deal, though in my opinion the thought of murder comes from how you can come across anyone in a daily basis and even they could have a murder mentality; the inner rage that craves the suffering of another person. Anyone can have this mentality, it’s almost as someone having low blood pressure, it can affect them but in a way that no one could notice because it’s hidden under layers and layers of skin. Everything in the mind is hidden under the surface and that is what interests me, the idea of the human eye not being able to see what lies inside someone else, even if it is something as monstrous as murder.
