Late 90's in Philadelphia I would pass this man on my way to work everyday. Well dressed for his job in the concrete cubical as he was passed with less than a glance by Philadelphia's finest bustlers. In 2007 I returned and he was still there changing moods for free as they passed him by on their way to their 9 to 5.
Late 90s in Philadelphia I passed this man everyday as he played his heart out for a buck to the well suited men and women bustling to make it to their cubicals on time. Years later I returned to find him still playing his happy tunes out of his concrete cubical but only to a new set of Philly bustlers. He gave me a beat to walk to despite my mood. How many others did he cure daily? I think of him often... he in his cubical suit.
