This photo was taken about a month after the devastating earthquake in Haiti. It depicts an American volunteer aid chaplain at the site of a crumbled cathedral in the middle of Port Au Prince. This massive cathedral is one of thousands of buildings leveled by the quake. The streets were mostly cleared of bodies and rubble, however cracked walls and twisted metal remain where schools, churches, houses and businesses once stood. One of the poorest countries in the world, Haiti relies on the help and aid from other countries to rebuild and achieve structure.
