I spent most of my life at sea, crusing, working and living on the boats. I always wanted to create an image that would portay the grace and beauty of native fishermen I encountered on my travels... Generations of divers , so well adapted to their underwater environment where they so gracefully belonged.
It took me years to create this image but in the end, the entire series (I have sevaral successful images) is all
I envisioned. It was photographed in the open ocean off the island of Komodo in Indonesia, one warm, sunny early afternoon.
