While headlines the world over depict Mexico as one of the most dangerous countries on the planet, the reality for the vast majority of its inhabitants is anything but. Despite the fact that, since Mexican President Phillipe Calderon's war on the Mexican drug cartels, tens of thousands of armed forces personnel, drug workers and innocent civilians have been slain in the streets, this series portrays ordinary Mexican people. People a million miles from the drug wars, people going about their day to day lives from The North of the country by The US border all the way to The Yucatan Peninsula between The Gulf of Mexico and The Caribbean Sea. At work, at play, at prayer, with family, friends and lovers, at home, in Mexico.
