Over the windswept plains far north in Norway dogs and man fight nature during the 1000 kilometer long Finnmarkrace. With temperatures dropping to minus 40, and with strong wind and bottomless darkness, the world northernmost dogsled race is a brutal test. Robert Sørlie from Norway has competed many times and with hallucinations because of sleeplessness as backdrop he and other mushers from all over the world compete against each other for the prize money, but most importantly honor.
