Vegini Gigi was born in 1975 and lives in Valbrembo in the province of Bergamo. He came to photography in 1999, quickly gaining recognition in several national and international photographic competitions (most recently in 2010, 3rd prize in the eighth edition of 'International Photo Awards in New York in the Flowers-kind). She has attended courses and workshops Beppe Bolchi, Roberto Salbitani, John Umicini, Mark Anelli, and in 2004, a meeting with the photographer Maurizio Galimberti has changed its way of "observing the world." It uses 35 mm film for his reporting while at Juventus for creative research makes use of a polaroid immediate development. His images have been published in Italian magazines and catalogs (People photography, FOTO.IT, photography, Edav, Fotocult, Bergamoup, SLR Photography, The Day, L'Eco di Bergamo). Some of his images are part of private and public collections: Museum of Photography Montelupone, Fotostiftung Winterthur Schweiz (Switzerland) and Bièvres Musée de la Photographie (France). In 2009 he released his first artist's book "POLAFIORI" Fotofabbrica Arts Edition.
