The images collected in this study were captured between Summer 2010 and early 2011. They record through photographic language the poetic dimensions expressed by the continuing syncretism between the imperial city and its pedestrians. In my pictures, I express the need for constant reflection upon, and interpretation of, the aesthetic and narrative methods of street photojournalism in the entropic Manhattan.
