The Forsaken is a continuation of my fine art project on the abandoned historic ranches of the high desert. Since I last worked on this project, these old ranches have suffered a devastating fire, vandalism, and the last remaining owner occupant was gored to death by his own pet buffalo. I still find them transcendentally beautiful.
