This dormant vine image was taken at a winery located in California’s Alexander Valley in early spring during a photography field trip. Seemingly entwined together they wound their way in, around and through each other, crawling and reaching upward along the side of the wall. It was an intriguing sight that caught my eye and was taken with my Canon 5D Digital Camera, using a Tamron 17-35mm f2.8 Wide Angle lens on a Bogen Tripod with Manfrotto Head. I applied a slight dry brush accent filter in Adobe Photoshop.
