Looking through my airplane window, I snapped this image shortly after take-off from the Anchorage Airport. The late afternoon sun cast reddish hues upon the snow covered tundra and floating pink billowy clouds below. The thin silky hue of purple and red covered the sky above me enhancing the shadows below. The spectacular Chugach Mountains rose up ever so stately, lining the horizon line of the viewfinder, adding to this awesome lofty moment in the sky. I was blessed to capture this image with my Canon Powershot G9 set in Raw Mode and rendering this final image in Adobe Photoshop.
