"Camminaconme" (Walk-with-me) is the blog (www.camminaconme.com) I opened to post my performances with some of the pictures of the project on the violence against women ("Lapides"). The performances have been created to connect the art to the political and social thought. For this reason the rest of the title of the blog is "Look, talk, walk with me". From february 13th up to now, it has been visited more than 4.300 times. One of the objectives of the "Lapides" project is to be printed on granite and to be given to municipalities in which women are killed or violently assaulted or harassed. The performance consists on: "I'll give you my postcard, I take a picture, I'll put you on the blog." The postcards are printed and distributed to the people during different manifestations in Italy and it's dedicated to the theme of the event. For example the first has been printed on February 13th 2011, in occasion of the first great women's manifestation in Rome "Se non ora quando?" (If not now when?). In this occasion I took some of the pictures to some of italian politicians too. The others manifestations have been on March 8th (woman for the Women Day), March 17th (woman for the 150 years of Unity of Italy), March 26th (woman for No to nuclear and to the privatization of the public water), May 1st (woman for the Labour Day). Also I've been supported by some of differents associations, and, in other Italian towns (like Turin) I've been supported by other photographers, always with my own postcard. Moreover who wants can download the postcard from the blog, to take a picture and send it to me via email.
