Part of a series of 25 photos documenting The Great Sand Dunes National Park during a 50 mph windstorm. These images are selected for their abstract shapes. All the dunes shown here are taller than a 10 story building. Many of these formations eroded within three minutes. While taking these photos I was hit by a tornado and my wrist was fracture in two places.
