It was snowing as I enjoyed watching groups of icebergs from the deck of our expedition ship. The huge icebergs backdropped by dark storm clouds created dramatic scenes that constantly changed as the ship moved through the water. Just before sunset light broke through the storm clouds illuminating several icebergs and creating a shaft of light in the clouds above them. The event lasted only a few moments but I will remember the experience the rest of my life.
