Story

This is the story of a little boy who doesn't want to belong, who wants to escapes from the long lasting tension re-surging from the last divided capital of Europe. Head bowed, eyes closed, he dreams of an imaginary world that defies physical boundaries, and erases a past too heavy for his frail shoulders to carry. He probably does not know it yet, but he would like not to have to choose when he grows up.

This is the story of how a once happy religious procession is marked with a veil of mourning and desperation. Where faces proclaim the sadness and longing of the past. This is the story of  the need to cling to an unwavering Hellenistic heritage which seems to have always strengthened the peoples resolve and lifted their spirits.

This is the story of the Cyprus issue which still remains an unsolvable puzzle that tirelessly generates as much hope as it destroys illusions. Impressions of a painful past are evident from families waiting for something to happen or to change - people who seem to have lost their way for almost forty years.

This is the story of memories and fragrances of the past brought in by a familiar wind when it occasionally blows.

This is the story of a determined youth, full of verve and dreams struggling to move on without forgetting their parent's and grandparent's past. This is the story of always looking towards a brighter and better future.
