In 2004 I started working on my current project Doppelganger. A Doppelganger is a ghostly double of a living person, widely understood as a sinister and a harbinger of bad luck and death. In this body of work my persona is the central figure, performing a psychological struggle with her double. The work is an exploration of the inner struggle between the conscious mind and the unconscious mind, between the ego and the alter ego. Each image is constructed from six to nice photographs, in which a pictorial narrative is carefully choreographed into a single image.
