During the summer of 2003, I was fortunate enough to be a counselor supervisor at the Kiwanis Camp for young adults with disabilities in Oregon. After an amazing summer filled with adventure, the final weekend found a group of us at this stunning location, Ramona Falls on the western slope of Mt. Hood. This place holds a magical allure for me… the way the sun hits the waterfall at the right time of day, creating a stunning rainbow. Simply a gift from Mother Nature that is beyond comparison. This is without a doubt my favorite location in the Northwest.
