The boxers of Kibera are trapped within 4 sq km of poverty. Located on the west side of Nairobi, it is one of the largest and oldest slums in the world. With no equipment, the boxers train to their limits with items they have found from the streets. The human conditioning is elevated to a higher plane where body and mind are one. They are soft spoken and gentle, but their body language and ferocious stare tell a story of hardship and a will to break free.
