These images are part of a series documenting a group of young, inner-city adults living in Sydney, Australia. I shot some people I knew but mostly people I had never met- best friends, ballers, lovers, skateboarders, siblings. During the project’s course it became apparent that this seemingly random group of subjects were in fact frequently connected through a web of different relationships. Each image was shot against a white wall with a consistent, even light to ensure the focus remained squarely on each individual. Collectively these photographs provide an intimate insight into young urban adults- their identity, relationships and the sub-cultures to which they belong.
