Eigengrau, often called brain grey, is the color seen by the human eye in pure darkness. Ana Calbet Cuevas designed a womenswear collection consisting of the colors black and grey. She asked me to photograph it. I came up with the concept 'Eigengrau'. An ode to the unemitted parts of the visual spectrum.
