Every two years Brazilian indians gather at a different location in Brazil to celebrate and compete in sports like archery, tug-of-war, marathon, canoueing, swimming, football, among others. In 2011 the games gathered in the state of Tocantins more than a thousand indians from 35 ethinic groups to take part in the event.
