The most deadly flood in Thailand. I found many victims, old woman sits so still and silently in the rain, posture resembles an icon of American art, Whistler's Mother. The exists wide gap of social classes, two homeless men are sitting in the rain with their food basic necessities. The assistance of the old nun in a challenge against a sensitive taboo. A man walking through the water on street to get into his home. Farther carrying his little baby to another cell in the home with rotting water level is approaching the home’s top stair step.

Story

In the most deadly flood in 80 years of Thailand’s history which lasted 2-3 months, killed over 680 lives and damaged more than 4,300,000 households in 18 provinces.

First picture, is old woman which catches my attention as she sits so still and silently in the rain, People around her are rushing to find dry places as the rain is likely to get much heavier. Yet, I cannot forget this photograph as the woman’s posture resembles an icon of American art, Whistler’s Mother.

Second picture, like many other third-world countries, there exists a wide gap of social classes in Thailand. These two homeless men are sitting in the rain on a street with their food and other basic necessities.

Third picture, I met the old nun is carefully walking back to her monastery of Mahathat Temple in the center of Bangkok. The assistance is done in a challenge against a sensitive taboo meant to keep man and nuns distant from their opposite sexes.

Fourth picture, I met the man walking through the water to get into his home, with the rotting water level is approaching the home’s top stair step.
