This project focuses on architectures made by children, created by children to play and to shape their imaginary visions in a material way. There is often a common feeling among children, the need to be protected from the outside world and in a certain sense from their imagination. I remember that when I was a child I went to sleep wrapping up my body completely with the blanket and putting my head under its soft surface. In this way I raised a border from me and a scary imaginary world. The architectures of children are not only real structures but they incorporate wide aspects of the infantile cognitive process of interpretation of their environment. This kinds of architectures of play are nearly always emulations of houses or in a certain way of nests. This is because we grow with a kind of environmental influence about architectures that protect us and make us feel safe in performing our daily actions. Watching these constructions we create a magic connection between our past and our present, our childhood life and our adult life, living a sort of vanishing memory.
