“Over the next 40years the world’s population is expected to grow by 34%.This implies the necessity for an increase in agricultural production of 70%.”*FAOCommittee on World Food Security policy roundtable land tenure and international investment in agriculture - This work follows the entire process of Land Grabbing from Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates who for various reasons try to ensure food sufficiency to Ethiopia, where the government expects to let 3 million hectares of "virgin" land at little more than $1 per hectare, concurrently receiving aid from the World Food Program through the largest humanitarian aid program in Africa.
