Former beauty queen, Jackie Siegel, and timeshare billionaire, David Siegel, are triumphantly building a 90,000 sq. ft. home in Orlando, Florida. It was to be the biggest house in America, when his business was dealt a harsh blow by the economic crisis. As a result, the family faces economic challenges that eventually cause them to put their dream home up for sale. This series of photographs accompany Lauren Greenfield’s documentary film “The Queen of Versailles”, which was selected as the opening night film for Sundance 2012 and won the Best Director Award in the U.S. Documentary Competition.
