Child labour is very common in Bangladesh. Due to the proper understanding of the important and necessity of education in life, many parents have let their child to get engaged in earning at their early age. According to a report by UNICEF, 12.8% of the total children of age 4-15 are engaged in child labour. Many factory owners, like the Aluminum factories I have visited recently, often prefer to employ children because they are cheaper and considered to be more compliant and obedient than adults.
