I refuse to accept that photographs are simple or more sublime records of our perception. The process of creating ‘Disassembly of self-body’ includes several stages: starting from long exposures made by using of torch light and finishing by scratching surface of the negatives. Through this blindfolded journey I explore my body inch by inch, its abilities and limitations, I disassemble it and recreate through different photographic processes over and over again. I now feel settled in a place of affection, of empathy and self-retrieval and by exposing the human body in front of the lens, I address the problem of sensitivity and acceptance of the self.
