This is a project I call "Desperate Lands" dawning light on six Wilderness Study Areas (WSAs) in the high desert of New Mexico. Five being about 45 miles northwest of Albuquerque and other one 45 miles straight west, south of Laguna Pueblo. They are off the beaten path in remote and austere places without a lot of recognition or even knowledge of their very existence. This is a project reflecting their beauty in hopes these places can become "Wilderness" as defined by Congress in the "Wilderness Act of 1964"
