These images reflect the effects of my father’s degenerative neurological disorder, Multiple Systems Atrophy. The focus in this work explores the underwater movement of the human body and all of its expressions - free of gravity, and weight. My subjects were open to express movement freely with minimal direction. These images are symbolic of the struggle of my father’s disease and celebrate a positive, therapeutic interpretation of the freedom of mobility.
