This is an image experiment with a new observation and interpretation of the dust-covered group photos. I found out and reshot all my group photos and had them overlapped in an age sequence which spans a quarter of a century-25 years. During the synthesis of photos, many of the people I met, specific things I experienced and places that I passed along gradually fade out into the back ground the way they do in my memory. Meanwhile, a virtual me that doesnt actually exists is emerging slowly from the images. There is no existing photo of this image because it is formed by probability integral. The clothing is becoming clear as well as the countenance and facial expression which marks that age period. Appearance reflects the mind. The facial expression describes what my life was like at that time. The countenance mirrors my spiritual course. The clothing, sometimes vague and sometimes distinct, even reflects the aesthetic pursue of that age. What is life? What is time? Who am I? I ponder over the eternal philosophical questions and present my own thoughts with the work The Calculus of My Life Path.
