Carrying only the absolute necessities, a Greek-German couple take their children and leave their beloved home for Germany. They leave out of fear of the effects of the financial crisis. For the first little while in Germany, they stay with a friend. These photos show the uprooting, the arrival, a new definition of home and the reordering of familiar social structures.
