richness of detail and harmony of colours are what i look for when doing abstract pictures. i also like when chance, accumulation over time, or degradation play a role in creation of the photographed object. this series was taken in the port of athens in a place where boats were repainted and over time ground and different surfaces turned into manmade paintings without authorship and made without intention.
