The project is in collaboration with a Master student in Cultural Antropology and focused on the activities in the streets of Torpignattara. The reportage is supported by basic introduction interviews and related to commericial activities within 200 meters from the main crossroad of the neighborhood. The photographs have been taken at night, when the sunlight is off and include outdoor and the indoor visions for each store, the last one with the portrait of the person who works there. In this work, there is no expectation for a decisive moment, but dialogue. Known as 'Banglatown', the neighborhood sees the great change in its "social fabric" and the cultural diversity of the storekeepers testifies it. The historical and political landscape invites us to reflect on the complexity of the ongoing transformation. The latest bloodcurdling events - the murder of a father with his baby, call for a closer and disenchanted look about the reality we are living, once the spotlight of the mass media is off.
