At twenty meters deep at the Sea of Cortez in Baja California, I was waiting dive after dive, for a good encounter with the cormorant. I spent a long time along the sandy bottom looking at the surface trying to predict the angle of the bird towards the grunts (Haemulidae). With a fisheye and wide-angle lens I could freeze the moment of the final attack of the cormorant. In some images of this serie you can observe how It submerged like a bullet and thus managed to create a hole within the fish ball, isolated fish became an easier target.
