Kandapara is one of the 13 red Light districts (Brothels) of Bangladesh. 900 Sex Workers live and work here in inhuman and desperate conditions. Brothels are controlled by criminal organizations and corrupted local institutions: the business is based on the trafficking of young girls which usually happens in the poorest villages of the country and their enslavement which is favored by the social and religious context. Second Generation sex workers are a regular condition in Brothels: the majority of Bangladeshi prostituted children are based in red lght disticts, marginalized and condemned to a life of sexual slavery.
