Bangladesh is exposed to rising sea levels, increased rainfall and stronger cyclones. People go about their daily lives one year after Cycle Sidr destroyed two out of every three buildings along Bangladesh's southern coastline, displacing millions of people and killing thousands. But for many their lives are different now. A fisherman tells me ‘I've been fishing here for 22 years and these storms have never been as frequent as now.’ Fishermen pray for a benevolent sea while Muni is saddened by the loss of her sister, brother and 23 of her classmates. A newly established brickyard provides for reconstruction.
