Migration, Children and Human Rights
International migration flows have increased over the past decades. today, the number of international migrants is estimated to be 214 million people.The main causes of migration, are intrinsically linked to human rights deprivations in origin countries, such as poverty, inequalities, gender-based discrimination and lack of opportunities. The majority of migrants have all suffered some kind of constraints on their rights in their country of origin. Additionally, migrants may be escaping various kinds of abuse and violence, as well as armed conflict, aiming to reduce risk exposure by moving to a safer region or country.Children and adolescents are increasingly migrating in search of survival, security, improved standards of living, education or protection from abuse. Millions of young people are on the move, they flee their contries because of war, ecological disaster, economical injustice or violent and discriminating circumstances in their societies.They come to Europe with the hope to finaly escape and find a life in dignity. They are forced to cross the external borders of Europe. Because they don´t have passeports they have to travel in the darkness, uncomfortable and dangerous.  The European Commission count on the EU Agency, Frontex, which follows military principles and ignores the thousands of victims created by their border actions. Official Authorities remain silent regarding the existence and extent of the tragedy at Europe´s borders. 
Arrived in Europe unaccompanied minor refugees  have to live a very diffiult process. Up to date are accommodated in common housing without need-specific support and in reality they don´t have the same rights as the european children.The circumstances does not aquate to the UN Conventions on the Right of the Child.
