The Arab Spring revolution held the key to a brighter future. The truth is however that for most this has not happened. Despite the promises the economic burden has increased for most and reverberations from the events can still be felt all around disrupting the tranquility of the region exasperating an already delicate balance of life. What promised to be a new beginning is slowly eroding into a bleak and uncertain future. Walking by these people, focusing them in my viewfinder, looking into their faces one could not but feel the desire for a better life slowly fading away.
