Waf Jeremie, is one of the poorest neighbourhoods of Port au Prince. It raised on a garbage dump. There are no electricity, toilets or sewers. Here is one of the first hotbed of cholera. For gangs and arms dealers it makes simpler to increase their business, because police and U.N.O. cannot enter. From the earthquake there weren’t organizations that followed developmenting projects here. Sister Marcella is a Franciscan missionary nurse who has been living here for seven years, developing and carrying out projects for the population, thanks to donations. All the revenues from the book sales go to her projects.
