Story

Caves, together with the oceans, are the last unexplored areas on Earth. Geological forces have been shaping some astonishing natural forms in caves for millions of years. This is a hidden world full of disheartening beauty, fantastic and mythological creatures, organic shapes and forms beyond our wildest imagination.

More than four million years ago, at the birth of humanity our ancestors found a shelter and home in caves. With fossil and archaeological finds and paintings from prehistoric times, caves are a window to our past, but with a warning that human presence might be insignificant in the eons of geological history of our planet. Are we just passing through like shadows projected on the wall of Plato's Cave?

Whatever the answer might be, there will always be man’s curiosity and desire to explore the unknown as long as humans are present in the Universe. As a caver I have a rare opportunity to see unseen places – especially the zone of the shadows between the light and total darkness; a world which lets your imagination flourish and petrifies your body.
