Since Brazil was elected to host the 2014 FIFA´s World Cup and the 2016 Olympic games, Rio de Janeiro is being a remarkable scenario for political and social changes. The mega events are being used as a pretext to justify removals in the favelas, as their inhabitants are driven out to the city periphery, and with the purpose of security improvement in Rio, several violent acts are held in the area caused injuries and deaths, and terrifying all the Brazilians for the aggressive atmosphere of the confronts inside and outside of the favelas.
