A challenging mountaineering expedition through the "Hielo Sur", the stormy and inaccessible Patagonian ice cap, with food, camp gear, snow shoes, crampons, ropes, winter equipment and a solar panel brought on the shoulders for 11 days in total autonomy for 180km. The expedition was planned and organized with the specific focus on fine-art photography, in one of most sensational and harshest places of the Earth. The west faces of famous peaks of Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre are normally "forbidden" by the conventional view and have been revealed with a contemplative eye.
