Salvador and Tadeo train for four hours every Saturday and Sunday morning. Since the age of 5 they have been learning the craft of bullfighting. They both obsessively hope to one day become professional matadors. Salvador is from a wealthy family who have brought him to the bullfights weekly since he was a newborn. They are staunch Catholics and believe God will protect Salvador from any future harm, while Tadeo's single mother fears for him and hopes this obsession is a passing fancy, but also supports his passion as best she can. Until they are ready to fight, they train rigorously and attend as many bull fights as they can.
