This photograph was taken at Auschwitz. The wall is a compilation of photos that were taken from the suitcases of the prisoners of Auschwitz when they entered the camp. Story

This photograph was taken at Auschwitz. The wall is a compilation of photos that were taken from the suitcases of the prisoners of Auschwitz when they entered the camp. Staring at the photographs tears at the heart. The man standing in front of the wall is Jewish and during our trip, while many tears were shed he became so empowered and proud seeing what his people had endured, and how they kept going. The floor of the room was made of black glass and reflected the photographs, enhancing the power of the wall. This photograph brings back all of the emotions just as strong as I felt the day I took this photo.
