In 2017 Twenty-seven mothers that lost their sons and daughters to unjust police killing came to my studio to speak of the loss of their children, the pain in their hearts and the injustice the courts systems have dealt these families. It started in Ferguson but has swept the country. Today not a day goes by where a young man or woman of color gets shot because of the color of their skin. Never a word spoken, tears, hand gestures, and the pain of remembering creates an on-edge 1 minute video used to help raise awareness and funding to continue the movement.
