I had the chance to travel to Kashgar (China) in 1992. Kashgar is an Oasis city in Xinjiang. It has changed a lot in the past 25 years. The old town was removed and the a newer Kashgar was built. The sunday market was (or is still) very known in this town, because it’s supposed to be the biggest market in all of Central Asia, with a history stretching back over 2000 years from the Silk Road area. My pictures are now almost 30 years old and they show, how things and people were at this time - on the sunday market. The market offers everything between heaven and earth you can imagine.
