I got to know Grace, this 100-year-old artist, in the April of 2019. She is like a pistol, constantly questioning, commenting and joking (including a smidge of good-humored sarcasm). In this project, I will try to express her life struggles, loneliness, needs, weakness in the face of aging, fear in face of death, and also deeply explore the relationship between the elderly and our society. At the same time, to express my attitude towards aging and death in a gentle tone is another goal —— we should not think of them as negative things, since they are also just a stage of our lives.
