"Tale of migratory birds with broken wings" is an ongoing investigative project about current state of refugees from different parts of the world who are at the moment stranded in the area of Balkans. Within the project we collect intimate experiences and stories of these brave people from their point of view, using pure and raw documentary approach complemented sometimes with poetic visual language to present hardship and challenges they are facing with. The focus of this work is on the wounds, both physical and psychological, which were the reason for them to embark on an uncertain journey.
