In a part of Africa where there are so many political and religion fighting there is a country called Cameroon where freedom of conscience and freedom of religion are guaranteed by the constitution. A sense of a common national culture has been created through shared history, schooling, national holidays and symbols. However, ethnic distinctiveness remains, and ethnic identity became an increasingly important source of social capital. Amost half of the population are animist, their Gods are in Nature, so they believe in sacred trees or groves, unusual rock formations, and the burial places of ancestors. Even if at the beginning Muslim were considered Amimist’s slaves, now, there is often a very strong collaboration between tribes of different religion.
