Manila Workers This portrait series and photo installation shows Construction workers in Manila with their traditional way of protecting themselves from sun, heat and dust in bustling downtown Manila. These guys are constantly shaping the rapid development of the Manila skyline. Usually, the workers operate behind construction site barriers and are barely noticed by the population. I wanted to change that with my project and gave them a small stage with the exhibition in the Ayala Museum 2018. I got the inspiration for this project after living in the Philippines for several years.
